About Us

The Covington Elks Lodge #1806 sits on Crowell Road North just outside metro Atlanta, and the moment you walk through the door, you notice something that's harder to find than people admit: a room full of folks who are actually glad you showed up. With a 4.7-star rating built on 70 honest reviews, this lodge has earned its reputation one handshake at a time.

Monday and Thursday nights draw a big crowd for Bingo, filling the hall with laughter and a little healthy competition. Live country bands take the stage on weekends, drawing locals who want real music and cold drinks at prices that don't require a second mortgage. The kitchen turns out solid, satisfying food that keeps members coming back rather than heading down the road.

Traveling Elks will find two RV hookups on-site, a rare and welcome convenience that makes Lodge #1806 a genuine home-away-from-home on any road trip through Georgia. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has been serving American communities since 1868, and this Covington chapter carries that tradition forward with the warmth and hospitality that only a tight-knit small-town lodge can offer.

What We Offer

Bingo nights run every Monday and Thursday, and they pack the house. Tables fill early, so arriving on time is its own reward. Beyond Bingo, the lodge calendar rotates through live music performances, holiday celebrations, fundraisers, and member appreciation events that give everyone something to look forward to each month.

The full-service bar keeps prices reasonable without skimping on the pour, and the kitchen serves up hearty, crowd-pleasing food that pairs well with an evening of good company. Private event rentals are available for members looking to host gatherings, celebrations, or organizational meetings in a space that already knows how to throw a party.

For Elks members passing through Newton County, the two on-site RV hookups offer a quiet, secure overnight stop just minutes from I-20. Community outreach, youth scholarships, and veterans' support programs round out the lodge's mission, connecting members to causes that matter well beyond the walls of the building itself.

"They don't like people who are not members. The people will touch your personal items when you tell them not to. They tell you if there is an issue to call them over and there way of resolving is the person who is the member has the right to touch and move your things while you go to the bathroom. Even though I was playing bingo, I already had my pack and had been there since they opened. This was my second time playing bingo there and will be my last."
